IBM, Executive Level Manager

  • Managed 50 information technology professionals in Ohio, Indiana and Michigan
  • Formed the IBM Regional Retention Task Force to ensure a comprehensive and proactive approach to retaining top talent
  • Designed workflow processes, promotional strategies and technical infrastructure for IBM’s regional New Business Development Center
    • This business unit contributed annually to approximately 13 million dollars in new revenue.
  • Constructed a small business website maintenance training program
    • The program provided website redesign and development, training for staff on content management software, and training for business owners on social media and search engine optimization (SEO) practices.
  • Designed, developed and sold a concept website for the funeral service industry
    • The website provided funeral homes with an interactive tool that supported the creation of online memorials. Interactive memorials included free montage video tools as well as photo album and guest book functionality. The site was sold to a local funeral home for just under $10,000.00.

Business Ownership

Acquired a small business loan from the Small Business Administration by submitting a detailed and fiscally accurate business plan for a retail store and Internet business. Specifically, this business met the work apparel and safety apparel requirements of 13,000,000 AFL-CIO members. Designed and implemented a radically successful "one-to-many" Internet marketing strategy expediting business growth and leading to three (3) investment proposals.
