Mike and Kelly Heffner are the local franchise owners of the Express Employment Professionals and Specialized Recruiting Group office located in Greenwood, IN. Express is the largest privately held staffing company in the country and is also the largest locally owned staffing company in the Indianapolis area (as ranked by the IBJ Sept 2011) with five local locations.

Mike and Kelly started their business in May of 2005 and quickly earned the Fast Track award for their start-up performance. In 2006 the business was awarded the Fab 5 award for being the 4th fastest growing office in the nation. In 2007, 2008, and 2009, they finished in the top 20% and earned the designation as a Circle of Excellence office. In 2010, the office attained the Bronze level of the Circle of Excellence placing in the top 10%. In February of 2011, Mike and Kelly received the top honor of Franchisees of the Year. Mike attributes the success to the team that works at his office. Mike and his wife Kelly have a passion for helping people find great jobs.

Since they started in 2005, they have helped over 3,000 people find jobs on the southside. Express offers many services to assist companies with hiring professional, administrative and commercial/light industrial associates. They also offer HR resources, custom training services and temporary assignment solutions.

The Greenwood Express office is committed to the local community. Mike serves as a Greater Greenwood Chamber of Commerce Board Director and serves on the Workforce Investment Board for the State of Indiana. He also is a member of a local Johnson County HR group called JCERRA. He is involved with many community events and even brought the Express Clydesdales to Greenwood (August 2011) to raise money for the Children’s Miracle Network and Riley Hospital. Express also gives back to the community by offering three free local HR seminars yearly that are attended by over 200 local business and HR professionals. Mike and Kelly attend Mount Pleasant Christian Church and are active in coaching their two children with softball, football and basketball.
