Cheryl Oswald brings to Express Employment Professionals more than 7 years of experience in human resources, 15 years of customer service and management. She joined the Express Professional team in June of 2004, and is responsible for staffing Accounting and Finance candidates to meet the needs of growing companies. She has experience guiding candidates through periods of growth, and a unique understanding of the needs of organizations.
Prior to Express Employment Professionals, Cheryl served as Human Resource Coordinator for the Haggen Food & Pharmacy Oregon District. While there, Cheryl was responsible for recruiting, hiring, motivating and orientating Haggen’s management and associate teams for existing and new store openings. Her strong Recruiting and customer service background also includes Nordstrom. From 1985 to 1997 as the Nordstrom Estee Lauder Account Coordinator, Cheryl played a key role in recruiting, hiring, motivating and training counter sales associates for 6 locations in her region.
Eric Martin has partnered with Express Employment Professionals to manage mid, senior and executive level sales and marketing recruiting. Most recently he had served as Vice President of Regional Operations to a promotional travel provider specializing in tour generation and travel premiums sold exclusively to timeshare industry leaders. A historical “outside the box” thinker his unique blend of both strategic and tactical strengths have been groomed from over 10 eclectic years of hands on leadership experience in sales and marketing and are well suited for executive recruiting.
Recently returning to his Portland, OR roots after 9 years in Las Vegas, NV he is excited about exploring the vibrant Pacific Northwest all over again. In his free time Eric enjoys playing golf, camping, boating, poker, and philanthropy. Eric is excited about the opportunity join forces with EEP and to serve the Portland Metropolitan area.
Courtney Christensen, making it happen behind the scenes. Courtney is a native of Oregon, she graduated from the University of Oregon with a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in marketing.
Courtney joined The Stoller Group in January of 2007 as the Executive
Assistant to the Vice President of the organization. During that
time Courtney proved herself to be an asset to the organization
through her commitment and dedication to the team. Because of
these amazing traits Courtney was offered a position with Express’s
Specialized Recruiting Group.
Courtney’s role with Express Employment Professionals is to source candidates utilizing the resources available to her. Her primary goal is to assist the recruiters in the niches of, Engineering, Manufacturing and Technology, Sales and Marketing, Human Resources, and Information Technology to find our clients the best candidates and our candidates the best opportunities.
Ashli Sardo joined Express’s Specialized Recruiting Group in February of 2010 and has been in the staffing industry for over 15 years, 10 of which were spent in a leadership position. In the beginning of her career, Ashli was a staffing coordinator at a home health care facility where she placed over 150 medical professionals to patients’ homes and contracted services out to 13 other staffing agencies. During that time she was attending college and working towards her accounting degree and was promoted to financial services. After working in financial services, she gained employment out of the nonprofit area and became a controller and human resource manager for 5 companies under one umbrella. In 1998, Ashli joined Robert Half International where she spent more than four and a half years making a difference. After relocating to the west coast she quickly worked her way up the ranks from branch manger to area manager and regional director for a 30-million-dollar IT & engineering territory. Her areas of expertise include medical staffing, accounting & finance, commercial, clerical, information technology, and engineering.
